Biography:

Rachel (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has a heart for empowering women to live joyfully inside their bodies through liberation-work and self-compassion.

Rachel approaches therapy from a systemic, person-centered, feminist, sex-positive, and HAES lens that's rooted in social justice. She understands the ways that oppression and trauma influence how we connect with our bodies and views coping mechanisms as survival strategies that develop in response to our experiences. Rachel believes there is wisdom in our coping and enjoys helping clients compassionately attune to their body’s needs and connect to their intuition.

Rachel works with women experiencing issues including: dating and relationship issues, women’s issues, sexuality, sexual shame, embodiment, anxiety, spirituality and spiritual trauma. She has a warm and playful approach to therapy that allows her clients to feel safe and accepted. She values her clients as the experts in their own lives and work to identify their unique strengths and inner wisdom.

Above all, Rachel views therapy as a relationship. She come from a place of empathy, vulnerability, and a genuine desire to understand people’s lived experiences. She believes that one of the most important factors in achieving the healing that you desire is to find a therapist who you genuinely connect and feel safe with. She has a very warm and playful approach to therapy that allows her  clients to feel safe, understood, and empowered.

Outside of work, you can find Rachel exploring the beautiful city of Seattle, being an extrovert  and meeting new people, pole dancing class, groovin’ anywhere there’s live music, ogling dogs that aren’t hers at Green Lake, laughing and playing games with her friends, and educating the younger generation about 90’s music.
